My name is Sandie Maylor and I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Hypnoanalyst BA (Hons), DHP, DHA. After eight years in Fine Art Public Relations, predominantly at Sotheby''s Fine Art Auctioneers, I decided to put my communications skills to better use. I wanted to somehow utilise these skills to the benefit of others and in turn make a more valuable contribution to society. Hypnotherapy has always fascinated me, as it is the only therapy that speaks directly to the subconscious, which not only achieves exceptional results for the individual, but does so much faster than any other form of therapy. I use Hypnosis as an effective tool to conduct the necessary analysis and subsequent treatment, that enables each inidvidual to facilitate a more enjoyable daily and future life. I work to a strict code of ethics, the terms of which stipulate ongoing training, which ensures that I practice the very latest techniques and therefore can offer the very best treatment available in the field of Hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a reliable and safe treatment that is now recognised by many branches of orthodox medicine as an extremely effective therapy. It is a completely natural state of mind and something that you experience daily on a regular basis, for example just before waking and before sleeping. You are not unconscious while in Hypnosis, your ‘focus of attention’ has simply altered and you remain in control at all times. Hypnosis itself does not relieve symptoms, it is the therapy applied while under Hypnosis that attains the desired results.
