Based in Stoke on Trent, PD Components provides engineering and sourcing services for bespoke components. Established in 2003, the company has extensive contacts in the UK, EU and Far East for cost effective manufacture of clients own design components. Its parent company Production Designs Ltd started the business wing in the late 90''s following many requests for manufacture of designs it provided. The service proved a great success and PD Components was formed as an independent company in 2003. Expanding its supply sources, the company established links into the EU and later the Far East with now many factories and contacts in China, Taiwan and Malaysia. These are selected by careful screening and performance/quality criteria. Bespoke component manufacture designed by the client or Production Designs cover tooling and supply of plastic mouldings, die castings, extrusions, pressings, sheet metal and also electronics, PCB, assembly and testing. The components or products are produced and shipped to any destination in the world as required. Costs are very competitive with short lead times and delivered to schedule by air or sea freight. The company operates its own local QA procedures to ensure quality is maintained prior to despatch. PD Components has a growing customer base including Chubb, Qonnectis, MKC, Ecoglobe, Iskraemeco (Slovenia) Iskra MIS (Slovenia) Gazprom Global, Water Intelligence (USA) Lancer Corp (USA) and has a fully scalable production capability covering a few hundred to over 1m pieces p.a.
