A perfect retreat for a cosy getaway, this one-bedroom cottage is full of character, nestling in a secluded garden backing onto woodland – yet just a short distance from the ferry at Hunter’s Quay, as well as the shops, restaurants and amenities in the seaside town of Dunoon. Dunoon is the gateway to the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park and the surrounding scenery is truly breathtaking, with superb walking and watersports on the doorstep. Summertime at the cottage sees guests enjoying the large sunny conservatory which overlooks the garden - and in winter you have the perfect excuse for just snuggling up in front of the open fire in the lounge. Hunter’s Quay Cottage is located just a few minutes’ walk from the Western Ferries terminal.

Beautiful detached lodge in the stunningly beautiful region of Loch Aweside. The lodge faces Loch Awe with open views, a large garden and peace and tranquillity. We have three bedrooms: 2 doubles and one set of large bunk beds. There is an open plan living and dining area with wonderful views. There is double glazed windows throughout and electrically heated rooms. All fuel included in the price. We have a newly installed flat screen tv, video and DVD player; IPOD docking station with speakers. We welcome two well behaved dogs. There is a vast amount of open space around the property with a large playing field beyond our garden and then a further large open area near to the village. It is only a few minutes stroll to the Loch side itself. We have mooring and fishing rights with our property. The village of Dalavich is only a five minute walk away with a cafe/post office/shop where you can hire bikes and fishing equipment. There are live events/bands in the village community centre throughout the year. Boats of all kinds can be hired at Dalavich marina. There are miles of way marked paths throughout the forests straight from the lodge itself perfect for all abilities and mountain bikers.
