Set in the heart of Aberlour, Moray and literally minutes away from the River Spey, The Speyside Way and many of the famous distilleries, Torchattan House is an excellent base to tour, explore, fish or walk the beautiful area that is the North east of Scotland. Torchattan House was once the home of the Head Teacher at the Aberlour Orphanage.

We are situated at the top of the old village of Boscastle in a lovely 200 year old building which is only a short walk to the famous harbour and the coastal path. All eight bedrooms are en-suite and each one is decorated individually with white linen, colour co-ordinated accessories and the mattresses are of the best quality. Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room and we pride ourselves in offering delicious choices from our extensive menu - either full English breakfast or a lighter meal, for example smoked salmon on scrambled free range eggs or various vegetarian options. Our guests’ lounge is comfortable with deep leather sofas and chairs in which to relax. We have a private car park for the use of our guests.
