Computers 4 Africa
Aylesford, Kent
Computers 4 Africa is a charitable organisation that refurbishes and redistributes computers and working IT equipment to African projects including schools, educational facilities, clinics and libraries. One donated computer will provide training facilities for up to 20 individuals. Each ICT trained person is able to move into employment with a wage up to three times the national average. This would provide enough income to pull an entire family out of poverty. Computers 4 Africa refurbishes, data wipes computers and then sends them off to projects; schools, libraries, medical facilities, in Africa. We work together with businesses, schools and councils to find practical, ethical and environmentally friendly ways to sort their redundant IT kit.
