Urban Soul Orchestra (USO) offers a different and classy alternative to clients seeking live music for events throughout the UK and abroad. USO, based in Kensington (London), was established in 1993. Having had many years experience providing strings for the top of the UK music industry, USO now provides top quality entertainment for corporate events, product launches, private parties and weddings.

The group offers a range of musical options that fulfill all entertainment needs throughout an event. Performed by top class musicians, the product range includes a quartet performing chilled out background music for drinks receptions, a six piece acoustic ensemble (quartet with percussion and bass) during dinner and either DJ set or Big Band for after dinner entertainment, including vocalists, horns section and dancers if required. The 7 piece "Little Big Band", featuring funky strings and dynamic vocalists, was performed at the Wimbledon Ball 2010, 2011 and 2012 to much acclaim. The Urban Soul Orchestra's new products for 2012 included a 16-20 piece Swing Band and Best of British quartet created especially for the Olympics and Queen's Jubilee. In 2013 USO has already been recommended in the Tatler Party Guide and the Secret Quintessentially Weddings Guide.

Urban Soul Orchestra has an expanding network of prestigious clients, located throughout the UK and abroad. Music industry clients include Leona Lewis, Alesha Dixon, Keane, The Script, Grace Jones, Groove Armada, Maxi Priest and Nightmares On Wax. The company is owned by Stephen Hussey who has been working as a violinist, arranger, orchestrator and conductor for many years.
