We aim to put on four to five productions a year and are always looking for new actors and directors. Anyone interested in building sets or running things behind the stage is also encouraged to get involved! If you would like more information please visit www.greentheatre.com or call 020 8942 0155.

Theatretrain sutton
Sutton, Surrey
Theatretrain Sutton will give dozens of children the opportunity to perform at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West End in Christmas 2009 and at a local Theatre in 2010. Theatretrain shows always have high production values and are performed in professional theatres with bright costumes and of course lighting. In July students performed extremely well in Aladdin at the Adrian Mann Theatre. The show was successful because most importantly Theatretrain performances include ideas that have been shaped and developed by pupils, allowing their creativity to shine. Theatretrain has close links with the entertainment industry. The company’s patrons are Catherine Tate, Frances de la Tour, Kate Williams, Alfred Molina and Sir Derek Jacobi. Theatretrain schools concentrate on providing training in Dance, Drama and singing in addition to social skills such as communication, confidence and self-esteem building. The classes are taught by professionally trained singers, dancers and actors. Despite high standards Theatretrain is surprisingly less expensive than many other leading Theatre schools. Full details, videos and photographs of previous shows can be seen on www.theatretrain.co.uk. Classes run from 10 am until 1pm every Saturday morning during term time for young people aged 6-18 at Cheam High school.
