Meraki Beads have been making fine handmade memorial ashes jewellery here in Devon since the beginning of 2017. We  combine ashes into glass making affordable quality keepsakejewellery to help people feel close to their lost loved ones. Meraki Beads was started by Hannah Woodley who was inspired after the loss of her mother and step-dad at the age of 20. Being able to give back to people who have gone through similar situations who deserve to be able to cherish their loved ones, be it in a necklace, ring, pandora charm or even just a handheld stone. Every piece we make is just as important to us as if it were for one of our own, with that is the origin of Meraki; meaning to do something with soul, creativity, or love; to put something of yourself into ones work. While studying a bachelors degree in contemporary crafts Hannah developed a love for working with glass and the experience gave her the skills to develop mixed media pieces, post-university she would begin pursue her dream in building a small business.
