Adventure Yoga is named after my love of engaging with the wild and wet, sweaty, muddy reality of getting out into nature! I practise yoga because I love the effect it has on my body and mind - benefits that sneak into my daily life and of course, my running, hiking, biking and wild swimming! It's well-known that yoga is a great way to improve our overall fitness, health and happiness. When we combine the powerful practices of yoga with the natural high of being outdoors in nature we get an even more powerful experience. Level free, competition free, mat free; practical, personal and fun yoga/trail running experiences for everyone. Detailed, experienced and functional guidance for anyone who knows that they need to work on alignment, posture, biomechanics or heal a sports injury. Wild Yoga sessions - every other Saturday in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. Take yoga off the mat, out of the studio and into nature to feel even more connected with yourself, mind and body both. We practise with trees, rocks, ground, hills, sand...whatever is around is. Breath in fresh air, touch the earth, listen to the birds, see the horizon and instantly feel better! (Max 10 people in each session and social distancing observed). Yoga Trails - yoga and trail running session, Holyrood Park, Edinburgh. Yoga and running are natural partners - get a full body work out in this session as we warm up with a dynamic yoga flow for strength, run 4-5k for cardio and then do a yoga stretch out targeted for running. Bring more lightness and joy to running as you feel your body get more connected and stronger. 1-1 coaching and small group sessions in and around Edinburgh - treat someone or organise a small group bespoke session for a special occasion. You choose the focus and the landscape (hills, woods, beach). Get so much more out of your regular practice with some focused coaching or just enjoy a fun session outdoors.

HOT YOGA has rapidly become a very hot topic around the world and it is not any wonder since you''d be really hard pressed to find a better workout for both your body and mind. We sincerely believe that HOT YOGA is an ideal way to practice yoga and would like You to experience that too. And hey, what would be more comforting during dark and cold winter months than having your workout in a warm and cosy yoga studio! Heating the room up to 38° will make your muscles and joints flexible from the start. Easy-to-modify Jimmy Barkan method with its 32 asanas allows us to build a complete yoga experience. One that will never get boring since it has an added benefit in that the contents of the class can be varied depending on the needs of attendants. These classes are for everyone. There is always two of us attending each session to make sure postures are done correctly to prevent injuries and to help you gain maximum benefits. We start of giving You 13 original HOT YOGA classes before launching on a more full time schedule after the New Year. First session will be held on Monday morning 21st of November. These classes will be the perfect introduction to guide You to HOT YOGA''s wonderful world. At the start of 2012 You will also get to experience vigorous HOT VINYASA, soothing HOT YIN and energizing HOT MORNING classes in addition to these original HOT YOGA sessions.
