Offers two sound therapy systems - The Listening Program (TLP) and Johansen Sound Therapy. These are music based auditory stimulation methods which train the brain to improve the auditory skills needed to effectively listen, learn and communicate. Anyone can benefit from improved listening function, auditory processing, communication skills and relief from 'toxic noise'. Individuals experiencing listening, memory, sensory, concentration, learning, language, reading, attention, social communication and auditory processing difficulties may benefit, as well as those interested in improved communication and speaking skills, musical ability, learning potention, creativity and wellbeing. The organisation now provides TLP with bone conduction, which may prove effective for people with autism spectrum disorders, and this therapy can be bought for use at home, instead of having to travel to clinics. Following consultation and assessments, clients purchase the equipment through Sound Learning Systems, and they are given a programme of listening to follow on a daily basis for a period of 5 to 12 months. Reviews are conducted every 8 to 12 weeks to monitor progress. Professional and self-referrals accepted.
