Many bereaved people find tending the grave of a loved one very distressing but also find the idea that the grave is left uncared for quite painful. I clean the headstone and do whatever is necessary to ''tidy up'' and generally care for a grave, be that trimming the grass or weeding. I can also provide pots of plants or cut flowers but obviously there is an additional charge for this. As a spiritual medium most of my work is with bereaved people and I appreciate the importance of caring for, not just visiting, a memorial to someone you have lost. As a beekeeper I do tend to favour plants which attract bumblebees and honey bees. This is a lovely image of life and happiness in the midst of grief.
