We are a specialist bakery focusing on the design and creation of unique, distinctive custom cakes for any occasion, made with you in mind. Alternative because we strive to be more creative. We like to think outside the (cake)box, wherever possible mixing technology with traditional cake materials, to create truly unique designs. Alternative because we offer a truly personal design service. We will sit down with you and discuss your exact requirements, find out the kind of things you like and dislike, and from there we’ll come up with a few ideas. Once you’ve chosen a design we can fine tune it and when everyone’s happy we’ll make your cake. Alternative because of the flavours and fillings we have to offer. We can make your cake nut-free, gluten-free, animal fat-free and even low sugar if you suffer from diabetes. If you have any other special requirements please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your specific dietary needs. We believe in good, honest food and all our cakes are made from traditional recipes using simple, quality ingredients. We don’t use artificial sweeteners, but like to keep things as natural as possible.

All of our orders are presented beautifully in window top boxes (12 cakes and less), or sturdy carrying boxes (more than 12 cakes) and can be delivered free within a 5 mile radius and at a small extra charge further afield.
