The centre was designed by the famous Cullinan Studio''s (http://www.cullinanstudio.com) and was the HQ of Olivetti. The Olivetti building holds the status of Architectural importance to Derby because of it''s award winning and innovative design. We are starting to see some of the design functions entering into modern day buildings. THIS BUILDING WAS BUILT IN 1970. Don''t be surprised when you see design students milling around from universities. Actually come to think of it, most seasoned architects, surveyor and designers can be seen milling around as well.
