We are WEEE Regulated and as a company we try to prevent electrical and electronic waste going to landfills. We collect the IT equipment by van and bring it back to our premises to test it and if it can be used again it is cleansed. It is then either brought back into the community via low- income families on the community programme or they are being stored until we have the quantity for them to be accepted as part of the Polish ICT Strategy. The items that cant be salvaged are granulated and reduced into raw plastic, glass or metal and re-processed into usable items again in the future. All computers which we receive are data-wiped using our image master forensic equipment which erases data 8 times to department of defence standard.
