In 1986 Barrie Taylor bought out a window cleaning company, renaming it ‘Bude Window and General Cleaning Services’. Barrie over the next Twenty Years built up a reputable business, Serving Clients as Lloyds, Barclays Banks, CoOp, Gateway supermarkets and numerous customers in the retail and domestic markets. Barrie Enjoying his success found an offer on the table of the contract to Gateway supermarkets for all of Cornwall and now in his late sixties decided this would be the ideal time to step back and retire. Alison Taylor his Daughter continued cleaning for customers however dropped the window cleaning business, trading under her own name. The Taylor Family has been Cleaning for now 26 years. Now the family business entering its 26th year it has adopted a new trading name ‘Bude Domestic Services’ determined to provide the high quality services Barrie built it up with. Early in 2012 Bude Domestic Services bought out ''Woods Contract Flooring'' and are now able to offer carpet fitting and cleaning amongst their portfolio of expert domestic services. Separating the domestic from the contact sides of the business they have created the new brand for 2012 of ''Bude Carpets''
