Deborah Biggs Music Tuition (DBMT) is a private teaching business offering expert instrumental tuition throughout Cambridgeshire. I started teaching at university back in 1997 and, since then, I have progressed to teach a variety of instruments to all age ranges. Lessons are available on Clarinet, Saxophone (soprano/alto/tenor) and Trumpet/Cornet to Grade 8 level and I also offer beginner lessons - up to Grade 4 - on piano and flute. I hold a degree in music and am currently the principal clarinettist for the RAF Wyton Area Voluntary Band as well as lead saxophonist for ''Rhythm In Blue'', the RAF Wyton Big Band. I recently played principal trumpet in the St Ives Centre Players production of ''The Boyfriend'' at Burgess Hall, St Ives, followed two weeks later by 2nd trumpet for Bernstein''s ''West Side Story'' at Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre in Huntingdon. Alongside clarinet, saxophone and trumpet I also play flute, piano and percussion (including drum kit) and I enjoy doing occasional session work with various bands and orchestras on a freelance basis around Cambridgeshire and the South East.
